The Château de Sacy, Maison du Groupe Millésime, stands on the mountain of Reims in the charming village of Sacy. This is a properly great hotel. We have tried hotels in the area many times on our travels, and for great customer service, amazing location and excellent food, this is the best. It’s definitely quirky, but in the best possible (slightly Wes Anderson) way. Our bedroom and bathroom were giant and the bed was fabulously comfortable. Decor is knowingly loud and never takes itself too seriously. it’s a fabulously bizarre building overlooking a quaint village with a stunning church just a few kms from the bustle of Reims. it’s the opposite of ‘chain’ - with personal touches and real thought going into every element. Staff could not be more helpful, knowledgable and quick. The restaurant was a genuinely rare and impressive operation - an ambitious and broad menu delivered with no stuffiness and real skill by the chefs. Again, excellent execution with none of the hauter you can get in other places in France. We were sorry not to try the spa, which looked lovely and full of expertise. As a fabulous boutique hotel experience that is unusual, charming and smart, Chateau de Sacy is a rare and joyful experience. Bravo!

Check in was fast, pleasant staff and no hassle. Rooms are modern, spacious enough and clean. There is a lift from reception to rooms. Free parking in front of the hotel. Rooms are double bed only so booked two of them but still good value. No room keys but code so no check out if leaving early.

Alkaen TWD 2 818 per yöSijainti on hyvä, vain pienen matkan päässä Avenue de champagnesta. Edullinen Michelin 2023 -ravintola on myös vastapäätä, muista varata pöytä ajoissa! Asunnon löytäminen oli helppoa. Lähistöllä on myös runsaasti parkkipaikkoja (kuvassa hinnasto). Huone on kadun puolella, joten joskus pientä auton melua. Keittiössä oli kaikki perusruoanlaittoon tarvittava, toimi hyvin. Liesi on mutta ei uunia. Viihtyisä koti. Hyvä suihku. Huoneisto oli siisti, valoisa ja vastasi kuvausta hyvin! Olen tyytyväinen.

The room was much larger than I had expected, which was fantastic. Well laid out with plenty of space for suitcases, etc. The bed was a great size, and very comfortable. Extra bedding and pillows were available. Loved that there was a bathtub, especially as the weather was freezing and we had a long drive prior to arrival. Staff were friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was very tasty. We enjoyed breakfast as well.

Aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja kaikin puolin erinomainen linnan upeissa tiloissa. Tarjolla oli jopa samppanjaa. Linna ja sen sivurakennus olivat hienot, ja huoneemme oli viihtyisä ja kohtalaisen kokoinen. Pieni jääkaappi tai minibaari olisi ollut mukava, samoin vesipullo huoneessa. Söimme sekä Brasserie L’Atelierissa että linnan gourmetravintolassa. Molemmissa oli erinomaista ruokaa ja loistava palvelu. Gourmetravintola oli kuitenkin varsin kallis. Linnan sijainti oli erinomainen: rauhallinen pikku kylä keskellä Champagnen alueen viinitiloja ja Route Champagnea.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel, and my experience was simply exceptional, thanks to the incredible super host. The Lady who met us was incredibly knowledgeable about the hotel and the local area, providing personalized recommendations tailored to our interests.
